Track time on your phone, in the browser or in Slack
Tic-Tac works just as well on your phone as on your computer. Download the app from the App Store or Google Play, or log in with your phone’s browser to open the mobile version directly. Use the plus and minus buttons to enter time in seconds, or start the timer and let it measure your work session.
Do you work in Slack? With the Tic-Tac Slack app, you can track time without leaving Slack. All you need is for your Tic-Tac user ID to be the same email address as your Slack account.
Week view, month view and free-text search
Enter time day by day in the week view, or get an overview of the whole month in the month view. To find something you did earlier – like when you last visited a particular client – use the free-text search right on the start page.
Working hours and flextime
Set each employee’s working hours, even when they change over time. That keeps the flextime balance correct and the history accurate. The start page shows a monthly overview, and you get the same overview by email at the end of each month.
Expenses, receipts, mileage and per diem
Record expenses right alongside your time. Take a photo of the receipt with your phone and attach it to the expense. Expenses in foreign currencies are converted using daily exchange rates from the European Central Bank. You can also report mileage, per diem and other allowances, such as on-call and standby pay.
Payroll data straight from your time reports
Time, absence, expenses and allowances become the basis for your payroll run. Export the payroll data to most payroll systems.
Time reports for you and your clients
Your personal view gives you an overview of your own time, even if you’re an administrator. The weekly report shows time worked per project and week – handy when a client wants to see what’s been done.

Tell it in your own words what you have worked on. Here we use Claude as an example. Claude checks what is already there, asks when something is unclear and enters the rows for you.

You can always keep track of profitability and time spent on work. Follow up on projects, customers, and staff in detail. You can easily compile reports showing project overviews and time spent on individual activities by employees.
You can bill your customers in the system if you prefer. You can also link it to your accounting and payroll system.

In the simple time plan, you enter hours per employee, project and week – quick and easy to overview. In the advanced time plan, you drag and drop activities, split them up and plan over longer periods. Switch between the two whenever you like.
Revenue and utilisation forecast
Give your projects a budget with start and end dates, and the Budget Forecast report shows expected revenue ahead – and how much working time your projects will take up.
Invoicing and revenue analysis
Attach up to five PDF documents to an invoice, and keep hourly rates in one price list with dated price changes. The revenue analysis shows chargeability and results per month, for the whole company or for each employee.
Integrate with other systems
All billing can be done in Tic-Tac. Or you can transfer data and create invoices in your accounting software.
Absence, expenses, subsistence allowances, and other payments can be exported to most payroll systems.

And not least, we make sure your data is secure. We’re constantly working to develop the software, and you don’t need to worry about downloading updates.
Yes, Tic-Tac works really well with smartphones and tablets. You can download our app from Google Play or the App Store.

Subscribing to the service is similar to subscribing to a newspaper. You’ll receive an invoice once a quarter. You can then decide whether you want to continue.

Our servers are located in two separate data centres at Complior in Stockholm. They meet strict requirements for security, fire safety, protection against unauthorised access, and backup power.

Tic-Tac Mobile’s policy for subscription to the service and protection of your privacy and data.
Section 1. Only you personally can access the information that you save in the system. Your access is protected by the user ID you select and your password.
Section 2. Your name and email address may be used by us if we need to get in touch with you on matters relating to your use of the service.
Section 3. Under no circumstances will the information you save, or information about your use of the service, be submitted to third parties.
Section 4. The database where your information is saved uses strict, multilevel authentication. The server is kept in a locked room at a data centre that meets strict requirements in respect of burglary protection, protection against unauthorised electronic access, fire safety, and an uninterruptible power supply. The database is backed up regularly and the copies are kept in a different locked room.
Section 5. Secure handling of our users’ data is our top priority. However, even though all precautions are taken, it is never possible to achieve one hundred percent protection against technical failures or intentional damage. Tic-Tac Mobile AB, which runs the service, accepts no financial liability, beyond the subscription fee for the current three-month period, for any loss of data or the consequences thereof.
Section 6. Tic-Tac Mobile is a paid service that offers a free trial month for new users. Subscriptions are renewed quarterly by advance payment of the specified fee. The service will be discontinued automatically after the due date if you choose not to renew your subscription. Your information will remain in the system for at least three months in case you wish to resume your subscription. We will delete your information straight away at your request when your subscription comes to an end.
Most reports can be downloaded as Excel, Word, or XML documents. And you can export data to the most common accounting programs.
We also provide an API that allows your own systems to download the information automatically at regular intervals. Get in touch if you’d like to know more.

- will provide upon request a machine-readable file containing your information for export to another system
